About Us

Our owner, Richard T. Biery, started his contracting experience in Pennsylvania during the mid 1970's. The focus of his business was in the construction, plumbing and electrical trades. Mr. Biery's experience evolved through working in all facets of construction, including residential, commercial and light industrial projects. Among his remodeling experience, room additions and new home construction, he also was project manager for a housing development, completed several municipal water and sewer contracts, constructed a 10,000 sqft maintenance facility for the Franklin Area School District and spent four months in Ireland installing material handling and heat transfer systems for a Keytronics facility manufacturing keyboards for Compaq.

In 1994, Mr. Biery moved to New Mexico, obtained a MM-98 plumbing license and started a partnership with another company, Nailman LTD Co. He also completed a 16 lot development, including the infrastructure in Moriarty, New Mexico and a nine townhouse complex on Hilton Avenue in Albuquerque.

In 2001, Mr. Biery obtained a GB-98 general contracting license and started his own company, RT Biery LC. Since 2001 until now, additions and remodeling projects have continued to be our main focus. In 2008-2009, our Company completed a 5000 sqft addition/remodel project for Robertson and Sons Violin Shop on Carlisle and most recently, a 1200 sqft territorial style addition to a residence on Candelaria near the Rio Grande Nature Center, both projects in Albuquerque.
